Pedro Gonzales Jr: ELEVEN rib fractures

Pedro Gonzales Jr died of a punctured lung caused by a rib fracture. How many ribs were fractured? 11. How were they fractured? By the knees of two police officers. Between the comments from those who knew him and the medical professionals that have weighed in on the issue, it seems that the force needed to puncture a lung would never have been needed to subdue Mr. Gonzales.

HOMICIDE!

Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Pedro Gonzales Jr.’s death was a homicide.  Determining whether or not the homicide was “justified” is the next step towards justice.

Court to hear Pasadena Police Explanation of Pedro Gonzales Jr’s Death

Following a petition by Pedro Gonzales Jr’s family, a judge is to decide whether to depose Officers Jason Buckaloo and Christopher Jones of the Pasadena Police Department in the investigation of the death of Pedro Gonzales Jr’s death.

The family has not yet brought a lawsuit against the PPD, and the test results of the autopsy have not be released yet. 

Harris County DA: Pasadena Police Told Us It Was an Accidental Death

Harris County DA is placing blame on Pasadena PD for telling them that it Pedro Gonzales Jr’s death was accidental. Thus, no investigation occured following the report.
