Houston CopWatch had previously existed in Houston as a group of volunteers whom would focus on public education on human rights in regards to police brutality. Commonly, patrols of neighborhoods would be carried out on request with video and audio equipment and with educational materials.
It is time to reestablish Houston Copwatch.
We are desperately in need of volunteers for help in this reestablishment. Ongoing volunteer work needed includes: blog writers, meeting organizers, and community advocates. Once a strong volunteer base is established for these functions, we can then become active on the streets.
